Installing Cisco AnyConnect on CentOS 7 is easy, but you should install the pangox-compat libraries to get the graphical user interface (GUI) working. Without this package you will get the following error message when you try to run it:

# /opt/cisco/anyconnect/bin/vpnui 
/opt/cisco/anyconnect/bin/vpnui: error while loading shared libraries: libpangox-1.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

# yum -y install pangox-compat

Then you can manually test if the GUI works

# /opt/cisco/anyconnect/bin/vpnui
