This blog is more like a personal documentation experiment I, Hans-Henry Jakobsen, have made to store and make available hints, tips and other things I have found useful.
It works as a “reference library” of knowledge since it’s easy to search the content. I could might as well have used a wikisystem but this works for my needs and stores the info in a cronological order.
These pages are deliberately created without any ads and are not made for profit.
Pario is a latin word and can be translated to acquire, bear, beget, bring forth, create, give birth to or produce.
I am also available on Twitter, but the account @hanshenryj is mainly used as a newsfeed.
Note!
I delete users on a irregular basis because of massive bot account registrations.
I like your website very much, you have useful tips and no adverts. Keep up!

Thanks for your effort to collect all these handy tips.
I just found your page and it goes to my bookmarks to browse around from time to time.
Cheers! Andreas
Hi there i was reading your post
https://pario.no/2012/08/02/backup-of-zimbra-mailbox-using-zmmailbox/
was wondering this backup is incremental or differential?
Thank you
Hi Albert,
This was full backup on every run, not perfect but good enought to my needs at that time.
This post is now 8 years old and I have stopped using Zimbra since it required too much memory and CPU.
As of now my personal email system is running on Postfix, Dovecot, Rspamd and Roundcube webmail.
